USMC/Marine M1941 Combat Suspenders Universal

Nice original set of Vietnam War period M1941 USMC combat suspenders in unissued condition. Both suspenders are well marked. Metal hardware is in good condition. The Marine Corps WWII era straight back design cotton suspenders were only one-inch wide and had no shoulder padding. The four front belt supports had hook ends, whilst the rear straps terminated with snap hooks.
The suspenders were worn in an X formation with various belts and the numerous configurations of the USMC’s M1941 pack system. They were produced into the late 1960’s, until the introduction of the USMC M1967 system.
